{urban} Charlotte, NC children’s photography

I took my daughter to a quick, fun, urban photo shoot last night. She’s turning 3 this weekend, so I wanted to do a session with her, and get some shots of her new, fabulous tutu. We just walking around the neighborhood, looking for some fun backgrounds.
The tutu she’s wearing is from Cole Baby Tutus. I just love it, and Katelyn enjoyed wearing it. She’s not a girly girl by any means (she’s more into dinosaurs than princesses), but she couldn’t wait to put the tutu on when I showed it to her.

I took photos of this little girl last year, when she was 10 months old. Now she’s 20 months, and so full of life and spunk. To me, this age is the hardest to photograph. She definitely made me work for my money, but it was worth it, we got some great ones.

{10 days} Charlotte, NC newborn photography

I’ve been taking some time off as a photographer because my mom is visiting me from Estonia. I only see her once every 2-3 years (it makes me sad just to say it), so I felt like I owed her and myself some much needed time together. We’ve been having a lot of fun, and she’s leaving in a couple of days, so I was ready to get back into work.
Yesterday, I had a fabulous newborn session, he was great to work with, and super cute! See for yourself.

{Imaginary Picnic} Charlotte, NC commercial photography

Today I got a super exciting package in the mail! No, it’s not another lens (my husband’s comment), it was box full of CDs with MY IMAGES on the cover and inside jacket. Some time ago Eric Harry contacted me and asked if he could use some of my images for his CD titled Imaginary Picnic. I Googled him and found out that he is a super talented, award-winning musician… I was ecstatic. We worked out the details and today I saw the final product. Joy!
